About the Artist
Ed’s journey into copper began with curiosity…a single fountain sparked a passion that led him to master the intricate art of metalwork through self-guided exploration. His craftsmanship soon drew attention, earning features in the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, Copper in the Arts, and American Style magazine.
A longtime member of Sarasota’s Towles Court art community, Ed’s work has been showcased in galleries, museums, and even PBS documentaries. His studio eventually expanded to accommodate larger commissions and a growing body of work.
Ed creates one-of-a-kind pieces for art shows and exhibitions, and welcomes custom commissions ranging from mangrove-inspired tables to backsplashes, fountains, and countertops.
In 2013, Ed relocated to Oregon to support his daughter through health challenges. He quickly fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and now calls it home. In semi-retirement, he continues to share his copper creations at the Eugene Saturday Market and regional shows, blending craftsmanship with storytelling in every piece.
